Prosper Arbor Day Celebration! Celebrate Arbor Day with the town of Prosper. The event is supposed to be fun and educational with live demonstrations, tree plantings and tips for caring for and maintaining the town’s trees. • Nov. 7, 5-6 p.m. • Free • 1641 Prince William Lane, Prosper • www.prospertx.gov Celina Firefighter Ball Celina is set to host its first firefighter ball, a night to celebrate the city’s fire department. Prosper on Tap! Friendsgiving People can turn out to Downtown Prosper in late- November for an event filled with craft beer, wine, cocktails and pie. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in Thanksgiving-themed costumes for the event, which will feature music and awards. A 1-mile walk or run is also planned for the event. Veterans Day Honor Run This family-friendly event is for all ages and will include a 10K, 5K and fun run.
