428 5 Celina Parkway reconstruction Project: The project will repave Celina Parkway from FM 428 to the rst curve south and it will construct curbed concrete street south to the Collin County Outer Loop. Update: The project is in the design phase and has seen some disruptions, according to the city’s website. • Timeline: TBD • Cost: $2.8 million • Funding source: city of Celina 6 Oklahoma Drive construction Project: This project will include the design and construction of Oklahoma Drive from Pecan Street to Malone Street. The project will replace the existing asphalt roadway with two concrete lanes. Lighting and landscaping along Oklahoma Drive will be included in this project. Project: First Street will be widened from a two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane divided suburban roadway from Dallas North Tollway to Coleman Street. Update: The project is in the design phase and is expected to start construction early next year. • Timeline: early 2026-fall 2027 • Cost: $27.79 million Project: Prosper Trail will be reconstructed from Coit Road to Custer Road and the bridge will be replaced at the Wilson Creek crossing. It will be a four-lane divided roadway. Update: The project is in the design phase and is expected to start construction next summer. • Timeline: summer 2026-summer 2027 • Cost: $13.45 million • Funding source: town of Prosper 4 Coit Road resurfacing Project: This project includes an asphalt restoration of Coit Road in three segments. The segments are A CR 100 from Preston Road to CR 97, B County Road 90 from CR 92 to CR 98, and C CR 97 from Lynn Stambaugh Parkway to CR134. 9 Coit Road widening Project: This is phase two of the Coit Road widening project. It will construct four lanes of an ultimate six-lane roadway. Phase two encompasses Coit Road from Prosper Trail to Frontier Parkway. Update: The project is in the design phase. • Timeline: winter 2025/early 2026-summer 2027 • Cost: $9.48 million • Funding source: town of Prosper 10 Coit Road construction Project: The project, which spans Coit Road from First Street to Prosper Trail, is the rst phase of the Coit construction. The project will design and construct four lanes of an ultimate six-lane roadway. 7 US 380 widening Project: The Texas Department of Transportation is widening US 380 from the Collin County and Denton County line to Loop 288 from four lanes to six lanes. The project also includes the construction of overpasses at Legacy Drive, Teel Parkway and FM 423. Update: Tra c switches are ongoing along US 380 as construction progresses. • Timeline: Jan. 2022-Feb. 2026 • Cost: $175.66 million • Funding source: TxDOT, other entities 8 First Street construction Project: The project will create four lanes of concrete pavement and median landscaping from Stuber Elementary to North Dallas Parkway.
