VALENCIA PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
Hillwood Communities, a national commercial and residential real estate developer, on May 17 led the groundbreaking of Valencia, a new planned development in Manvel. The development, opening in summer 2023, will bring 940 homes to the area. It will also feature nearly 30 acres of commercial properties, a proposed elementary school and space to house a new Manvel City Hall and other city facilities.
Additionally, the development will include a recreation center; parks; athletic elds, including softball and baseball elds; and miles of trails that connect with other areas in Manvel.
