Twin Creeks Country Club completed a multi- million-dollar transformation of its dining areas in 2025, Senior General Manager Kyle O’Brien said. This ended the second phase of improvements at Twin Creeks, the rst of which included updates to the 8,000-square-foot Family Activity Center with new cardio equipment, a renovated studio and more. “The original clubhouse that was built in 2003, we have converted that to basically a 100% health and wellness feel,” O’Brien said. “We’re a wide range of amenities, we’re not just a club.” O’Brien also serves as the senior general

Full renovations for Lakecli Racquet Club will likely take about 18 months, Barker said. Collectively, the move toward tness upgrades in country clubs and similar facilities is a strategic move to better serve members, O’Brien with Twin Creeks said. “Austin is a very active city. … There’s a lot of competition in the area from that component, so it was about how we provide that to our membership so they don’t have to go to a competitor,” O’Brien said. Further details on the River Place Country Club renovation were not available as of press time.
In November, the PGA Tour and Good Good Golf announced a new golf tournament will premiere at Omni Barton Creek Resort’s Fazio Canyons golf course on Nov. 9-15. Omni Barton Creek completed $5 million renova- tions on its Fazio Canyons Course in 2022, bringing new tee boxes, bunkers and greens that improve the playing experience, according to a news release. “When golf courses were being identi ed as potential hosts, this one stood out for a number of reasons,” Tournament Director Ian Helm said. “It’s going to be a very strong test to some of the best players in the world, especially after some of the recent renovations.” In the PGA Tour, players win points toward the nal cup total. As the second-to-last event in the series, the event will feature a eld size of 120
