HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS MONTH

FROM CODY: The Annual Community Guide is a time to look ahead at some of the topics that will impact Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake in 2023. I think you will all enjoy the work of reporter Hannah Johnson looking at the public safety concerns in this market. Each of the cities have boosted budgets to help increase public safety, not only on the streets but also in the classrooms. We also dive into what new businesses and restaurants opened in 2022 and what will come in 2023. Finally, we broke down the demographics of each of the cities, which I feel is very informative. Not to mention we will look into transportation issues and what are things to watch for education at Grapevine-Colleyville ISD and Carroll ISD for the upcoming year. Cody Thorn, EDITOR

CORRECTION: Volume 12, Issue 10 The Texas state population on Page 14 should have listed 28,862,581 residents in 2021, with an increase of 3,602,798 since 2016.
