Sola Flower Sam handcrafts long-lasting blooms in Georgetown Sam Friedrich, owner of Sola Flower Sam, creates customizable ower arrangements, bouquets, mag- nets and home decor from wooden owers. With each handpainted stem and piece of faux greenery, Friedrich curates something people can enjoy not just in the moment, but for years to come. “I’m building a completely arti cial long-lasting oral design, just the way you would with real owers, but with a creative faux alternative,” Friedrich said. How it started Friedrich was planning her wedding in April 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic caused a global shutdown.
