Fulshear OKs $1.5M land purchase for Primrose Park

The league anticipates its preseason to begin in mid to late July, followed by fall practice, a regular fall season and playos in November, per agenda documents. More parkland will be added to Primrose Park using funds set aside for park and facilities land acquisition approved by voters in May 2025. The big picture At a May 12 meeting, Fulshear City Council approved the $1.5 mil- lion purchase of approximately 4-acres from Living Word Lutheran Church for incorporation into Primrose Park and future public park development. The approval comes after the city postponed the grand opening of the park’s second phase—cen- tered on baseball and softball elds—from May 9 to June 13 after press time due to weather and rain impacts.
