Merge Barbershop Pickleball Tournament

Merge Barbershop, located in downtown Hutto, will host a pickleball tournament at The Picklr in Round Rock. The event will include raffle prizes and prizes for first place, with brackets available from beginner to advanced. Participants are guaranteed a minimum for four games. Round Rock Public Library’s Mystery Night The Round Rock Public Library Staff will host “Into Temptation,” a three-act murder mystery with audience participation at Penfold Theatre Company. Kayaking at Lake Austin for adults The city of Pflugerville will provide transportation and kayak rentals for a trip to Lake Austin. Fall Book Buzz The Pflugerville Public Library will host its annual book buzz, giving attendees a chance to review new and upcoming fiction, nonfiction and graphic novels for adults. The first 50 registrants will receive a bag with library swag and get the first pick from the library’s collection of advanced reading copy books. Registration begins August. 28.
