Collin College to maintain tuition rates for fall 2025 Collin College students will continue to pay the school’s current tuition rates for another semester, which are the lowest in the state, according to a March 28 news release from college ocials. The Collin College board of trustees voted to maintain the current tuition rates for the fall 2025 semester at a March 25 meeting. The specics The college’s current tuition rates are: • $ 67 per credit hour for in-district residents • $127 per credit hour for out-of-district residents • $202 per credit hour for out-of-state and out-of-country residents

PISD anticipates $27.5M budget shortfall in 202526 With an expected decline in enrollment and increasing property values, Plano ISD ocials expect a multimillion revenue shortfall in the 2025-26 school year. By the numbers PISD’s student enrollment is expected to decline by 877 students—a 1.9% decrease—which will lower the district’s revenue, Chief Financial Ocer Courtney Reeves said during the meeting. The district’s 2025-26 recapture payment, a funding mechanism intended to balance the needs of school districts across the state, is expected to be $6.65 million higher than FY 2024-25’s pay- ment, Reeves said.
