Sustainability Division The Sustainability division’s (Live Green in Plano) mission is to educate and engage the community in sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

Environmental Health Division The Environmental Health division ensures compliance with the Plano Food Code for over 1,900 permitted food establishments. Restaurant inspection scores are available to the public at Inspections.MyHealthDepartment.com/Plano . According to the CDC, an estimated 48 million people get sick from a foodborne illness each year. Environmental Quality Division The Environmental Quality division ensures the protection of Plano’s waterways, provides mosquito abatement and enforces the smoking, noise and outdoor lighting ordinances. < Help protect your family from mosquitoes by following the guidelines on the left. To report standing water present for over a week, stormwater pollution or an illegal discharge into a storm drain, please contact the Environmental Quality division at EnvHealth@Plano.gov or call 972-941-7143.
