Downtown Plano steakhouse satiates culinary void
Although Lane Rainwater was a seasoned entrepreneur when he opened BAR Ranch Steak Company in 2020 in downtown Plano, he didn’t have any restaurant experience. He knew what he liked—steak and bourbon, and he felt like it was time to ll what he and some friends all saw as a void. On the menu The dinner menu boasts a variety of steak options, but Rainwater said he can usually predict the top seller every evening. “It doesn’t matter what we put on the menu, the majority of the time, they’re going to choose the most expensive steak we have,” Rainwater said. “When people come here and spend the money on these dinners, they do it because it’s the best.”
