2 MoPac South expansion Project: The project features a number of express lanes along the 8.7-mile stretch from Cesar Chavez Street to Slaughter Lane, alongside shared-use paths, according to the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority. 1 Bee Cave Parkway pavement improvement project

Project: The pavement improvement project on Bee Cave Parkway between RM 620 and Hwy. 71 will include a 2-inch mill and a 2 1/4-inch overlay on the road, along with new striping and new signage. Update: Bee Cave City Council awarded the bid for the project to Texas Materials Group on April 28. • Timeline: TBD • Cost: $1.39 million • Funding source: Bee Cave’s 2026 Road Maintenance Fund

5 Zilker Multimodal Improvements Project: Austin added a new 0.7-mile shared-use path around the Zilker Botanical Garden.
