Travis Club, a 1,500-acre development near Spicewood along the southwest shore of Lake Travis, is transitioning to constructing homes to prepare for move-ins beginning in early 2027, Travis Club CEO Leisha Ehlert said in an email. Travis Club is a residential community planned for nearly 700 custom homesites, ranging from just under half an acre to over 3 acres per site, Ehlert said. Pricing for the homesites start in the low $700,000s. Currently, 150 listings have been closed, with several more in escrow or pending, Ehlert said. Of those, over 35 homes are in the design review process, while 10 are in active construction. “Travis Club’s design review process is intended to create a unied but varied community character while celebrating the natural beauty of the property,” Ehlert said. Travis Club will feature a members-only golf course designed by Beau Welling of Frisco’s Fields Ranch West and Pelican Golf Club in Florida. Construction for the golf course began in September 2024 and is planned to be open for members on Labor Day weekend. Beyond the golf course, amenities at Travis Club will include a clubhouse, tness and wellness club, a private marina, boat club access and more. Additionally, there will be over 30 miles of trails, waterfront recreational facilities, racquet sport facilities and the Peninsula Club, a community hub featuring a pool, full-service bar, recreational elds and courts, and other social spaces. Travis Club will also feature “Duke’s,” a “lake- front social hub” with a food trailer, “outdoor tree bar,” live music series, movie nights, repits and a private event space.
