A partnership between Texas Digestive Disease Consultants and Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is set to create the Pugerville Surgery Center, a multispecialty ambulatory surgical center with medical oces. The center is slated to be fully built out by 2026. Dr. Junaid Siddiqui with TDDC has helped lead the initiative. Siddiqui said that while the goal is to be able to eventually oer a wide variety of services, such as OB/GYN and primary care services, the initial focus of the rst phase is on gastroenterology through a variety of inpatient and outpatient endoscopic, diagnostic and therapeutic services. What’s next?
The project broke ground on Oct. 24 and will be completed in two phases. Siddiqui said construction on the rst phase is expected to begin by late 2023 and is aiming to accept its rst patient by April 2025. The second phase is set to include medical oces and an imaging center, and is expected to be complete sometime in 2026.
The surgery center in Pugerville is expected to be complete in 2026.
