Forty Six’s cheeseburger (starts at $11) consists of a one-third-pound beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion on a brioche bun. It can be served with fries or housemade chips. Other add-ons include bacon, a fried egg, pesto mayo and more.

Co ee in Austin. For lunch, pizzas, sandwiches, soups, burgers and kids meals are available. Bread is baked in-house, and all deli meat is sliced fresh to order. The sandwich and soup combo is a popular lunch item, Seth Holmbeck said, but the classic burger and fries can’t be beat. “I know I’m biased, but I like our burger for being a regular burger, I think it is the best burger in town,” Seth Holmbeck said. What else? A large portion of Forty Six is catering. Seth Holmbeck said they have built up a strong catering clientele that includes the city of New Braunfels as well as nonpro ts and businesses inside McKenna.
The restaurant is owned by Seth and Lindsey Holmbeck.
