Metropark Square center under new ownership The Metropark Square Shopping Center has been sold, ocials involved with the development conrmed. Dig deeper Daniel Moon, vice president of Sam Moon Group, conrmed the sale via an Oct. 16 email. Information from Montgomery Central Appraisal District shows that the deeds for four parcels on Metropark Drive, Shenandoah, were sold to Mubarak Real Estate LLC by Moon Real Estate Holdings and Metropark Square Ltd. as of Sept. 15. Sam Moon still owns some land to the east of the properties, according to information from MCAD. “We look forward to working with the new own- ership to support the restaurants, shops, businesses and entertainment options that make Metropark Square a valued part of Shenandoah,” Shenandoah Communication Specialist Kirby Crenwelge said.

The backstory The 175,000-square-foot shopping center is situated on 70 acres and home to a number of restaurants, retail and entertainment venues, according to information from Sam Moon Group. Work on the complex began in 2017. Among the openings in recent years are: • Dave and Buster’s, which was renovated in 2024 • Escapology, which opened in 2024 • Brkthrough, which opened in 2025 • Kyuramen and Tbaar, which opened in 2024
