A GRAND AFTERNOON - GRANDPARENTS DAY CELEBRATION Grandparents and grand-friends are very special in children’s lives – so here’s a day just for you! Come spend the night in Old Settlers Park! You’ll pop your tent around the Lakeview Pavilion, eat dinner, have fun, play games, sit around the campfire eating s’mores and then off to sleep under the stars. Wake up with the sunrise and enjoy a pancake breakfast. Full details at www.RoundRockTexas. gov/FamilyCampout . Registration for the campout is required. Registration fee will increase to $15 on September 1. Each registered participant will receive two meals (Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast, vegetarian option available upon early request), s’mores and a t-shirt. Participants are responsible for providing all their own camping equipment, as well as setup and take down of tents. Electricity will not be provided in the camping area and pets are not allowed. There will be no shower facilities on site.

With an OINK, a MOO and a COCK-A-DOODLE-DOO, GIDDY UP on over and join Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department for our annual Fall Fun Festival! This years Old MacDonald theme will sure to be exciting for all of our little toddler and preschool farm friends! Farm themed fun activities include carnival games, petting zoo, hayrides, snacks and fun for all to enjoy. VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION Come out on to Yonders Point Flag Plaza and celebrate all those who serve in our armed forces! This free celebration will begin with a formal ceremony with city Dignitaries and guest speakers at Old Settlers Park: Yonders Point Flag Plaza. We will continue the celebration with a fun military touch-a-truck, vendors and services for our veterans, food trucks, activities for the entire family, and a live concert!
