AQUATICS & SWIM LESSONS SWIM LESSONS PARENT & CHILD AQUATICS - 24-1040301PC (All class days require parent or guardian participation) Instructors will introduce young children to safe behaviors around the water and develop swimming readiness by leading parents and their children in water exploration activities with the objective of having fun and becoming comfort- able in, on and around water. The class will provide you with the knowledge and skills to orient your child to the water and to safety around water. Multiple adults per child are welcome. Class ratio is 1:15 children. (6-36 months). Minimum 3 participants per class. Booking changes must be made 14 days in advance of 1st class for full refund.

PARENT & PRESCHOOL AQUATICS - 24-1040302PP (All class days require parent or guardian participation) This class is designed for children who are not ready to take a class on their own. The skills from Pre- school Beginner will be covered, with parents in the water by their child’s side. Participants will acquire rudimentary levels of basic aquatic and safety skills. There are no prerequisites.This class is designed for children who have never had a formal swim lesson. Children will learn: Pool Rules, blowing bubbles through mouth and nose, submerge face, front and back float and other American Red Cross swimming techniques with and without assistance. To pass this course, student must be able to: 1.) Enter independently into the water using the ramp, steps or side.
2.) Fully submerge head under water & blow bubbles 3.) Float on their back without assistance for 3 seconds. Multiple adults per child are welcome. Class ratio is 1:10 children. (3 years to 5 years).
