Calling all pool sharks. Join the Baca Center at Eddie’s Tavern for a pool tournament.There will be $175 in prizes sponsored by Mpact Roofing.Tournament will be double-elimination and participants must stay until they have lost twice. Participants are welcome to purchase beverages and food during the tournament from Eddie’s. Cost is free for Baca members and $10 for non-members. Eddie’s Tavern is located at 100 Parker Drive, Austin 78728. For bracket purposes, registration will end on September 18. Ages 50+.

VETERANS WALL OF HONOR The Baca Center will be creating a “Wall of Honor” to celebrate and thank our veterans during the month of November. All veterans or family members of vet- erans are asked to provide a photo of the veteran in uniform. This photo can be emailed to kgaydos@roundrocktexas.gov or brought to the Baca Center during membership hours to be scanned and returned immediately. Please include name, branch, rank and years served. Photos that were submitted in 2020 - 2022 do not have to be resubmitted. Deadline to submit photos is October 23, 2023. The Veterans Wall of Honor will be on display in the Baca Center Lobby for the entire
month of November and can be viewed anytime during facility hours. ANNUAL NUT SALE & PECAN CRACKING
Pick up some high-quality snacks including almonds, peanuts, pecans, chocolate nuts and more at the annual Nut Sale. SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED - DON’T MISS OUT ON YOUR FAVORITES! Products are anticipated to be available at the beginning of November. Pecan cracking will be available November 1 through January 31 for $.50 per pound. Please bring in bucket or tub (no plastic bags), labeled with name and phone number. Pecans must be debris, insect & mildew free. Please allow

Baca Center Veterans: Join us on Thursday, November 9th at 9:00am for a celebration to honor your patriotism and sacrifice for our country. A short presentation will be held in the Grand Room followed by a pancake & sausage breakfast. The meal is complementary for veterans and $5 for guests. Registration is required by November 2, 2023. “A NIGHT IN HOLLYWOOD” SENIOR PROM – 24-10104SP The Baca Center is rolling out the red carpet for our annual Senior Prom. Join us Friday, February 2nd for commem- orative photos, cocktails, dinner, dancing, dessert and more! A limited number of tickets will be sold for this VIP event.
