50+ ADULTS (BACA CENTER)

PERSONAL TRAINING Adults age 50+ can get some one-on-one fitness with a certified personal trainer at the Baca Center. Our certified trainer will personalize a workout just for you and your physical limitations if needed. A Weight Room membership is required for personal training. Our trainers not only offer one-on-one specialized attention in weight training, but also in water, yoga, cancer exercise, dance or nutrition. We have specialized trainers in each area! Our trainers bring a wealth of knowledge, passion, and motivation that make every session interesting. If the large group classes and one-on-one training is not your thing, then grab a partner and try Pairs Group Training! Pairs training is designed to provide par- ticipants a non-intimidating environment that has the structure of group exercise but the individual experience of Personal Training. Groups have their choice of number of sessions; the meeting times and days are discussed between the small group and their personal trainer. RESCHEDULING IS PROHIBITED. PICKLEBALL Pickleball is a fun sport and great form of exercise that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The game is played with a paddle and plastic ball with holes and can be played as doubles or singles. Play will be first come, first serve. Play is divided into non-competitive play with a rating of 1-3.5 and competitive play with a rating of 4-5. Paddles and balls are available to participants that do not have their own. Ages 50+. Come check out our 2 tables and hone your table tennis skills. The Monday and Wednesday programs are open to those with a rating of 1,000+ and are considered advanced players. The Thursday program is for beginners with a rating of 0-1,000. Play is on a first come, first serve basis to play. Paddles and balls will be available to participants that do not have their own. Then this is the course for you! This class will teach you the general rules of the weight room along with weight room etiquette. You will also learn the proper technique for our machines.
