6 dining options now open at McKinney’s Plaza at Fort Buckner New restaurants serving dishes such as tacos and bagels are now open in north McKinney as part of the rst phase of the Plaza at Fort Buckner development. The details The rst phase of the retail development was completed in early 2024, with businesses opening throughout spring and into summer. The retail strip features fast-casual eateries Cava and Piada, in addition to six other restaurants. The develop- ment also includes a number of retail and service businesses including Revolution Barbershop, Frost Bank and The Lash Lounge. The second phase of the project will feature a Dave & Buster’s and an EoS Fitness location, among other businesses, developer Eric Seitz said. The project, developed by the Seitz Group, will round out the fourth corner of commercial devel- opment at the Hardin Boulevard and University Drive intersection. The combined four corners of the intersection will include about 1.2 million square feet of developed space, Seitz said.
