San Marcos, Buda and Kyle where visitors and residents can catch a live show. From local bands to national tours, these venues host a variety of performances throughout the year. This list is not comprehensive.

Cheatham Street Warehouse, coming up on almost 50 years as a music venue staple in San Marcos, was founded by singer and songwriter Kent Finlay in 1974. Not long after Finlay’s death, country musician Randy Rogers of the Randy Rogers Band bought the venue in 2016 and kept it alive. such as Willie Nelson and Stevie Ray Vaughan in its tenure and, aside from hosting artists both local to Texas and from other parts of the country, also hosts songwriters circles where an artist leads other musicians songwriters and o ers their expertise in songwriting.
