Hospital breaks ground on $230M expansion Ascension Seton Williamson in Round Rock will soon expand its capacity to care for the growing population of Williamson County. The hospital broke ground on a $230 million expansion Sept. 26, anticipating a 2026 opening. About the project The 216,000-square-foot, six-story tower planned to be constructed as an expansion of the existing hospital will allow staff to take on the increased demand for care that has arisen with population growth in Williamson County, hospital president Andrew Gnann said. Once completed, the expanded tower will have: • An additional 160 beds, bringing the total number of beds to 341 • Two new operating rooms • An additional MRI

The first Google Fiber internet customers in Round Rock now have service, one year after crews began the installation. The overview According to company representatives, most of the city could be fit with fiber cables by the end of 2025, and the service will also expand to Cedar Park, Kyle and Lakeway.
