Houston Methodist hospital gets new CEO As of Jan. 1, David P. Bernard assumed the role of CEO at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hos- pital, according to a news release from the hospital system. In September, previous CEO Debra Sukin was named president of Texas Children’s. In recent years, the hospital in The Woodlands has undergone expansion, including the opening of a new tower in 2022. Phase 1 of Tamina project ending Jan. 31 The rst phase of the city of Shenandoah’s project to extend water and sewer services to the community of Tamina is projected to be completed by Jan. 31, ocials said. In a nutshell Engineer John Bleyl said Phase 1 includes extending water and sewer utilities to John- son and Easley roads, respectively. Phase 1 includes installing 57 re hydrants. The project is a joint eort between Montgomery County and Shenandoah, allocating $21 million in federal American Rescue Plan Act funds to bring infrastructure to the community. The $49,300 contract for clearing the water plant site was awarded by the city Jan. 10. Phase 2 of the project will begin in late 2024, including the installation of 277 water meters.
