Stonebridge Family Vet has been operating out of a rented location, and its lease is set to expire in August of next year, the clinic stated in a letter to the city. Family Vet Group, which owns and operates Stone- bridge Family Vet, intends to purchase the property and construct a 4,000- to 10,000-square-foot commercial mixed- use building with the anchor tenant being Stonebridge Family Vet. McKinney City Council approved the request at its Nov. 16 meeting. The McKinney City Council approved the name of the park, which was previously unnamed, at a Sept. 7 meeting after the McKinney Parks, Recreation and Open Space Advisory Board recommended it.
