General Manager Wesley McDaniel said the owners decided to open a location closer to home in Magnolia after produc- ing the original Moonshine Deck venue in downtown Houston. The icehouse offers indoor and outdoor seating with an open turf that boasts swings and lawn games. The bar serves specialty cocktails such as Moscow mules, smoked old fashions and frozen screwdrivers. The establishment also welcomes a host of food trucks, with the resident Eat Love Conroe always on property, McDaniel said. Other food trucks rotate on weekends.
