BellaLina’s Couture o ers designer gown rentals in Humble Owner Karina Torres opened BellaLina’s Couture in April 2020 to provide a ordable gown rentals for women, specializing in designer maternity gowns. Named for her daughters, Isabella and Angelina, Torres said the business is a legacy she hopes to leave her children.
The details BellaLina’s o ers gown rentals with over 130 options to choose from. Gown options include classic, couture and luxury, which range in size from extra small to 2X and 3X. Mini dresses, which are designed for children ages 6 months to 10 years, are also available. In 2022, BellaLina’s Couture expanded to include a photography studio to provide customers with both a studio space and wardrobe. The photography studio o ers a white canvas studio, seamless paper backdrops, props and furniture. A photography studio rental starts at $60 for the rst hour and $50 per subsequent hour. Customers also have the option to pay an additional at rate of $50 to access BellaLina’s entire gown collection.

“My daughters are everything to me,” she said. “I lost my mom at the age of 17, so I feel like for me it was like, I want to build something for them.” The framework Torres said the idea to create a gown rental business stemmed from her own experience as an expectant mother. She wanted a designer dress that was both elegant and a ordable to wear for her maternity photo shoot, but said she was surprised at the limited resources available. “I wanted that fairytale experience of wearing a luxury gown,” she said. In 2020, Torres bought her rst designer gown for her own maternity session. “I loved the experience. I loved that I was able to wear this beautiful, luxurious gown,” she said. During her photo shoot experience, Torres came to the conclusion that other expectant mothers would appreciate an a ordable gown rental company for their own special occasions.
