Home oral business blossoms into successful shop
What began as a childhood dream grew into a local success story for two Lakeway sisters. Lemon Leaf Florist is a ower retailer owned by Sydney Grgurich and Elise Fletcher that sells custom-made bouquets and oral arrangements for weddings and other special events. The backstory After graduating from college in 2016, Grgurich began making bouquets out of her apartment and dropping them o to local businesses to spread the word of her design services. In 2018, Grgurich formed enough connections in the community to open her store on Lohman’s Crossing Road, and Fletcher, her younger sister, joined soon after.
The impact Casual customers can stop by to grab premade arrangements out of coolers, while clients can hand-select materials for their arrangements. Between weddings, funerals, birthdays, corpo- rate parties and more, the pair said they design for over 60 events each year. “Nothing is too big or too small for us to take on. If I think that I can really nail down somebody’s vision, then I will work with them,” said Grgurich. Quote of note “I just want to continue to empower more young girls to be creative and challenge themselves,” Grgurich said.
Elise Fletcher and Sydney Grgurich co-own the shop.
