“I’m Proud of You” Penfold Theatre Company will present, “I’m Proud of You,” based on the best-selling book about Fred Rogers, the TV host of “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.” This will be the first performance to be held at the new community theater. • Oct. 4-26 (times vary) • $19+ (admission) • 2120 N. Mays St., Round Rock • www.penfoldtheatre.org Stagecoach Inn Open House An open house for the Round Rock Stagecoach Inn, one of the oldest surviving buildings in the city, will be held. The event will feature a short program, followed by an unveiling of its engraved history brick display while guests will get the first look at the new interior of the inn. • Oct. 19, 10 a.m.-noon • Free • 750 Chisholm Trail Road, Round Rock • www.roundrocktexas.gov Halloween 5K Fun Run & Family Festival Local nonprofit organization Team Brock will host a 5K fun run to raise money for pediatric brain cancer research and medical trials. Round Rock resident Brock Fleming was 7 years old when he passed away from childhood brain cancer in 2016. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in Halloween costumes. Fall Fun Festival The annual event by the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department is a chance for toddlers and preschoolers to dress in Halloween costumes and enjoy family activities. Round Rock Diwali Festival The 8th Annual Round Rock Diwali Festival is a celebration of the “Festival of Lights.” The event will include live performances of Bollywood, classical, folk and regional dance forms of India, as well as a drawing and painting competition, fashion show, Bollywood dance workshop and a variety of food and clothing vendors. • Oct. 25, 2-10 p.m. • Free (admission) • 301 W.
