Railroad crossing at Keller Hicks Road closed The railroad crossing at Keller Hicks Road in Keller closed Aug. 1 through November, according to a news release from the city of Keller. What’s happening According to a city of Keller newsletter, crews are working on water and stormwater infrastruc- ture, a retaining wall and road repaving around the railroad tracks. The total scope of the project includes expand- ing Keller Hicks to a three-lane road with a turn lane in Fort Worth and reconstructing Keller’s two-lane road east of the railroad track, according to project documents. Beautication coming to FM 1938 medians Changes are coming to Davis Boulevard through Keller after a timetable adjustment by the Texas Department of Transportation. The details According to documents, TxDOT is in design to construct raised medians on the roadway. The city of Southlake will then add landscaping. The project is scheduled for November 2025 and construction could start in early 2026. No end date was listed.
Work on Keller Hicks Road from Lauren Way to US 377 started in the spring. The railroad crossing closed Aug. 1.
