The Brass Tap oers ‘something for everybody’

In addition to beer, The Brass Tap has a full bar oering several mixed drinks, including mocktails. The most popular menu item is the boom boom shrimp, which features 12 beer-battered shrimp tossed in a signature sauce. The restaurant recently added pizza to its menu. What’s special about it? Patel said customer service is what sets The Brass Tap apart from other restaurants. “We take [customer service] seriously,” Patel said. “Our employees are well-trained and ready to help.”
Prior to opening The Brass Tap, Sid Patel owned a beer and wine shop in McKinney, but a love of craft beer made him and his brother want to expand their horizons. Patel owns four Brass Tap restaurants. He opened his rst Brass Tap in Allen then expanded rst into Prosper, then Frisco. A fourth location most recently opened in Cross Roads. What’s on the menu? The Brass Tap is known for its rotating selection of draft beer, Patel said. “The whole craft beer industry has changed,” Patel said. “Back in the day, we didn’t have many local breweries.” Patel said the closer a bar is to a brewery, the
