Celina, Prosper ISD students return to class for 2024-25 school year Prosper and Celina ISD students headed back to school for the first day of the 2024-25 school year Aug. 13 and Aug. 14, respectively. Celina ISD’s fourth elementary school, Tommie Dobie Bothwell Elementary School, welcomed its first group of students this school year. Prosper ISD opened two schools in the 2024-25 school year—Betty Jackson Elementary School and Daniel L. Jones Middle School. Looking ahead Celina ISD expects to open its fifth elementary school in the 2025-26 school year in the Parks at Wilson Creek neighborhood. In fall 2025, Prosper ISD expects to open its 19th and 20th elementary schools, its sixth middle school and its fourth high school named Richland High.
