cocktails, including an Urban take on the classic old fashioned; lighter fare such as bruschetta and tuna tartare; and seasonal snack boards. The couple said one of their favorite aspects of operating the bar is seeing their regular customers. “There’s 100 bars in probably a 5-mile radius, and this is their favorite ... that’s probably the most rewarding piece,” Blake said.
The bar, with views of downtown and the nearby creek, is one of three businesses under the Urban umbrella, along with the URBAN Eat+Drink restau- rant and Urban Creekside event space. The bar, which Allison said draws inspiration from the classic speakeasy, is an upscale environ- ment that can be booked for meetings, corporate
