Jan. 31 Celebrate ChineseNewYear The Central Market Cooking School will celebrate the year of the tiger by teaching participants how to make a traditional Chinese New Year meal. Attendees will learn to prepare dishes such as boiled dumplings, braised sh in chili bean sauce and citrus almond oat. This event is for those age 18 and up. 6:30-8 p.m. $45 (per person). During the annual All-American Bowl, 100 all-star high school football players from the San Antonio region will compete in an East vs. West game in the Alamodome. The game is presented by H-E-B and masks are recommended for all visitors to the venue.
