3 new trustees, 1 incumbent elected to Cy-Fair ISD board

Three new trustees and one returning incum- bent will serve four-year terms on the Cy-Fair ISD board following the Nov. 7 election. Todd LeCompte, Julie Hinaman, Justin Ray and Christine Kalmbach each won their respective positions, according to results posted by the Harris County Clerk’s Oƒce. Hinaman is the sole incumbent who sought re-election this year, and she was successful in her race. Newcomers include LeCompte, a business owner; Ray, who works in business development; and local Realtor Kalmbach. All four have had children attend CFISD schools and have either run in previous school board elections or for state-level positions in the Texas House. By the numbers About 55,000 votes were cast in each race—up from roughly 35,000 votes cast in each race in the last CFISD school board race in November 2021.
