Street reconstruction to begin in Pflugerville Pflugerville City Council approved a $5.2 million contract Jan. 23 with Patin Construction LLC, launching the city’s Neighborhood Street Reconstruction Package 1B project. This is part of an ongoing initiative to revitalize neighborhood streets in Pflugerville. The overview The project will provide improvements to 18 streets in the Saxony and Willow Creek Section One subdivisions, with the scope of work includ- ing resurfacing, curbing, pavement markings and signs. Construction is anticipated to begin by late February and last roughly six months, according to city documents. Funding for the Neighbor- hood Street Reconstruction projects comes from three 2020 voter-approved bond propositions totaling $191.3 million.
Kelly Lane road improvements begin Phase 2 of a project to widen Kelly Lane in Pflugerville to four lanes began Jan. 10. What you need to know Road work, stretching from Falcon Pointe Boulevard to Moorlynch Avenue, will require the closure of Vilamoura Street, which is expected to remain closed until May. The city plans to keep lanes along Kelly Lane open throughout construction, which is expected to be done by January 2025.
