FEATURED IMPACT EXPANSION Ocials with Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital announced July 28 plans to expand the facility to accommodate the population growth in the surrounding area. The facility originally opened in 2017 and has 105 beds and about 600 employees. The $71.8 million project will bring an additional 40 beds, a second oce building, a parking garage and additional surface parking at 27800 Hwy. 290, Cypress. The expansion will span 185,000 square feet and add more than 500 parking spaces to the campus with plans to be completed in 2024. “The growth within Cypress has been extremely exciting, but it also means we have to make sure we are doing our best to appropriately grow in order to provide the level of care that the community has come to expect,” Senior Vice President and CEO Jerry Ashworth closure.
