HIGHLIGHTS PFLUGERVILLE ISD A Jan. 20 report from Pflugerville ISD shows the district has collected more than 50% of its 2021-22 tax levies and is ahead of where it was at the same time last year. In January 2021, PfISD collected 48.61% of its levied taxes compared to 53.83% collected this year. The total tax revenue for the 2021-22 school year is $268.36 million, and the district has so far collected $144.45 million, according to district information. PfISD Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Land said in December the district had collected 5% of levied taxes but quickly ramped up to almost 55% by mid-January. HUTTO ISD The district began livestreaming its board meetings Jan. 13. Texas state government code requires that school districts with enrollment of 10,000 students or more make recordings of their regular meetings available to the public. HISD has not yet reached that enrollment level, but board President Billie Logiudice said officials decided to move up the rollout of the livestreaming service in part because of the rise in COVID-19 cases. Archived meeting recordings will remain available on the district’s website for two years.

everything inside the Bohls campus is now open. “You can’t see it because of the masks, but the students were so excited as they walked into their new campus,” Schulte said. District information states Bohls Middle School teachers began moving into the campus in early December. The Bohls campus was originally scheduled to be ready for students in time for the start of the 2021-22 school year, but competing construction projects and contractor scheduling errors resulted in project delays.
PFLUGERVILLE ISD Bohls Middle School, a highly anticipated campus within Pflugerville ISD, welcomed students for the first time Jan. 5.
