Classes for children

• Ballet: Classes vary in length, and provide a foundation that includes positions, movements and terminology. • Kids Aerial Yoga: This hourlong class uses a silk hammock suspended from the ceiling to perform yoga. • Gym Kids: This 45-minute gymnastics class helps children with endurance, core strength, muscle strength, tone and development, motor skills, balance, and overall coordination.

Kids’ classes range from dance to activities that help build social skills.

There are also parent nights out when children can be left at the studio for organized activities and supervision. Hartman attributes her success to the team of professional instructors and the support of the community. “We are a wellness sanctuary that is private and exclusive,” she said. “We have a small ratio compared to other studios, and we are a prot-sharing studio. My goal as a business owner is giving women, men, whoever, the opportunity to really shine their talents, because it takes a lot of energy.”

Made LLC in 2021 with the goal of promoting physical, emotional, spiritual and mental wellness. Hartman had the idea while work- ing as a teacher with students who showed a decline in motor planning, or training their motor skills. “I was an elementary [physical education] teacher working for Cornerstone Christian Schools,” she said. “I noticed a decline in our young students’ ability to coordi- nate motor planning. It was also correlating in the classroom with behavioral issues. So, I asked my principal to start a motor lab.” The motor lab enabled Hartman

Hartman began her business in 2019 as a mobile studio but then shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She opened a new studio in summer 2021 that oers classes for children and adults alike. The studio oers children’s classes for social interaction, aerial yoga, gymnastics and dance. Each class of up to eight students is taught by a certied instructor. “They come in, and they are men- tored by a certied teacher—not just certied in their craft, but certied by the state of Texas as well,” she
