With the growing popularity of pickleball throughout the nation, Texas has become a prime location with the second-most places to play the sport, right after California. According to data from USA Pick- leball, the number of courts nation wide has increased from 12,000 to almost 45,000 since 2016. With the rise in the craze, Frisco added 12 pickleball courts to its existing tennis facilities in October. That addition brought the city total to 17. “Frisco is a fast-growing com- munity with an active lifestyle,” Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney said in an October release. “It’s no surprise our residents are passionate about pickleball.” Here is where residents can find
