New Celina ISD campus welcomes first students Celina ISD students returned to school for the first day of the 2025-26 school year Aug. 13. The district’s fifth elementary school Margie Moore Vasquez Elementary School welcomed its first group of students this school year. Willard Middle School, CISD’s second intermediate campus, is set to open during the 2026-27 school year. Looking ahead Here are some important dates for the 2025-26 school year.

• Oct. 10-14: student fall break • Nov. 24-28: Thanksgiving break • Dec. 22-Jan. 2: winter break • March 16-20: spring break • May 22: last day of school

Vasquez Elementary is located in The Parks at Wilson Creek neighborhood. 2 Celina ISD Superintendent Thomas Maglisceau visited Vasquez Elementary School on the first day of school.
