4 Wichita Trail reconstruction Project: The street project included reconstructing the road between Cardinal Drive and Bayshore Drive. Update: The nal task for the project, which includes intersection work at the Twin Coves Park entrance, nished in late December. • Timeline: March-December • Cost: $2.7 million • Funding source: Flower Mound street maintenance sales tax funds • Timeline: Oct. 1-Dec. 1 • Cost: not available • Funding source: private capital from the developer 5 Morriss Road water lines Project: Work includes installing 4,400 linear feet of a 30-inch water line along Morriss Road from Eaton Street to Waketon Road. The water line is needed to provide additional capacity and will replace a 20-inch water line. The project will also include 600 feet of a 48-inch bore and tunnel due to the Timber Creek crossing. Update: Crews are expected to wrap up nal paving work for the project by mid-January. • Timeline: December 2024-January 2026 • Cost: Nearly $7.44 million • Funding sources: Flower Mound impact fees, utility debt and grants

Completed projects

1 Marcus Drive, Marcus Court and Prospect Drive reconstruction Project: Marcus Drive and Marcus Court will be reconstructed and sidewalks will be replaced. Water lines will be replaced for both roads, and sewer lines and manholes will be rehabilitated. For Prospect Drive, the road and sidewalks will be reconstructed and sewer lines and manholes will be repaired as needed. All three roads were originally constructed in 1984, according to city documents. Update: A $398,000 design contract for the project was awarded during the Dec. 1 City Council meeting. • Timeline: fall 2026-fall 2027 • Cost: $5.48 million • Funding sources: Flower Mound street reconstruction bonds, dedicated sales tax funds and utility debt

2 Flower Mound Road joint sealing Project: Work on the street included pavement joint sealing between Old Settlers Road and Quail Run Road to prevent moisture from getting into the road’s subgrade, which could cause further damage. Update: Construction wrapped up in mid-December. • Timeline: Nov. 14-Dec. 10 • Cost: About $118,120 • Funding source: Flower Mound street maintenance sales tax funds 3 International Parkway lane additions Project: Work included constructing deceleration and turn lanes along the road into the Silveron Park mixed-use development. Update: The improvements were completed in early December.
