“My personal favorite [drink], I’m a little biased, is the BG Margarita, that’s the Brian Gasperson margar- ita,” he said. restaurant’s name is a tribute to the year 1845, when Texas received statehood. The three Texas natives’ pride in the Lone Star State is seen throughout the steakhouse,

from the Texas-inspired dishes, music played exclusively by Texan artists and Texas-inspired decor. “I was born here in Flower Mound,” Gasperson said. “[Mann] is all city; I’m in the middle; and then Marty is all country.” Gasperson said the restaurant oers elevated service. 1845 Taste Texas may not necessarily look like ne dining, but it feels like ne dining. The menu—described as “Texas favorites with a modern, eclectic air”—is curated with uniquely Texan dishes such as Lockhart fried quail, calf fries and its pecan-candied bacon chicken sandwich.

Mound and nearby communities. Bryan is the sole proprietor of Marty B’s, a barbecue restaurant located in Bartonville. The trio also owns Rustico, another Flower Mound restaurant. Marty B’s opened in 2017, followed by Rustico two years later in 2019. Marty B’s Coee Co., Bryan’s latest business venture, is located in Bartonville and opened July 7. The group has no intentions of slowing down. Gasperson and Mann said the trio plans to open a fth business in the next year or so, and they are also eyeing locations for the next 1845 Taste Texas.
