where classes and training were held in the back- yard of Bock’s home. In January 2023, he opened a brick-and-mortar. Bock said his gym is unique because of his accommodation to boxers of all skill levels. Let’s Bocks is also registered with USA Boxing, which allows the gym to host and compete in tournaments throughout Central Texas. Why it matters Bock said boxing is one of the most fun and engaging ways to stay in shape. “When it comes to keeping body composition in line and creating muscle tone, it’s extremely reward- ing,” he said.

After years of coaching, refereeing and training, Bock wanted to bring something to New Braunfels that was missing—a gym specically designed for boxing. “Moving here, there wasn’t anything fully dedi- cated to boxing,” Bock said. “It was tough having to travel elsewhere.” Let’s Bocks Fitness and Boxing was originally established after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020,
