San Antonio Animal Care Services ocials introduced Dec. 1 a searchable dangerous dog registry containing the addresses for legally deemed “dangerous dogs.” The specics The online tool found at www.sa.gov/ directory/departments/acs includes a map and also lists the number of dangerous dogs at the address, according to a news release. There are more than 100 “dangerous” dogs in San Antonio, the release stated. Get involved The city urged residents to call 311 or 210-207-6000, or visit www.sa.gov/acs if they see what appears to be a dangerous dog, or call 911 if they think a dog poses an immediate threat to life.

The background NISD trustees on Dec. 12 approved a 2024-25 school year calendar where classes will start Aug. 19 and end May 29, with winter break Dec. 23-Jan. 6, and spring break March 10-14.

The NEISD board on Dec. 11 adopted a 2024-25 school year calendar for 2024-25, when classes will begin Aug. 12 and conclude May 22, with winter break Dec. 23-Jan. 2 and spring break March 10-14. NEISD and NISD ocials said being designated a District of Innovation by the state allowed each to be more exible in their nal school calendars.
