Celina ISD elementary attendance boundaries to change in 2024-25 Celina ISD officials approved new attendance zones for elementary schools as the district antici- pates the opening of a new campus in the 2024-25 school year. The district’s board of trustees approved the boundaries during a Feb. 26 meeting. The specifics The fourth elementary school, named Tommie Dobie Bothwell Elementary, is located in the southwest portion of the district in the Cambridge Crossing neighborhood. A portion of Lykins Elementary School’s boundary will be moved to the new elementary school. Bothwell Elementary is expected to open with 518 students and could soon reach 648 in the 2025- 26 school year, according to projected enrollment.
Max prices set for 2 PISD school additions Prosper ISD officials have taken a step toward increasing the student capacity at two of its middle schools before the start of the next school year. The district’s board approved the guaran- teed maximum price for classroom additions at Reynolds and Rogers middle schools Feb. 19. This allows no more than $4.3 million to be spent on the project at Reynolds Middle School, and no more than $3.1 million to be spent on the Rogers Middle School project. The specifics Reynolds Middle will have six classrooms added to its campus, while four classrooms will be added to the academic wing of Rog- ers Middle. Officials said they hope to break ground quickly and have the classrooms finished by Aug. 1.

District growth O’Dell Elementary’s functional capacity is 750 students. It currently has 830 students and could reach 935 students in 2024-25, according to the estimated enrollment numbers. CISD is forecasted to have 5,367 students in the 2024-25 school year—14% higher than the district’s current enrollment, according to district data. Officials anticipate elementary school atten- dance boundaries to shift again in the 2025-26 school year as CISD’s fifth elementary school is expected to open.
