Bell schedule changes for coming school year

AUSTIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE Russell Lowery-Hart was named as the lone nalist in Austin Community College’s search for its next chancellor July 24. Lowery-Hart has served as the president of Amarillo College since 2014, during which time the three-year completion rate at the school more than doubled, according to an ACC news release.

LIBERTY HILL ISD Trustees adjusted the bell schedule for the 2023-24 school year on July 17. Ocials said the changes create better alignment between the elemen- tary, middle and high school levels. Elementary schools also received an additional ve minutes in the schedule, which allows for more instructional time. The newly adjusted schedule also adds time between middle and high school dismissal, allowing buses to better support high school routes. BELL TIMES The newly approved bell schedule is as follows: Elementary school: 7:40 a.m.-3 p.m. Middle school: 8:10 a.m.-3:45 p.m. High school: 8:45 a.m.-4:20 p.m.
The high school will open at the site previously reserved for Middle School No. 3.
