Conroe ISD earns overall ‘B’ in 2024
What they’re saying
Conroe ISD calculated its own 2024 A-F accountability ratings to gauge student progress and presented the results at a Feb. 4 meeting. The results show overall student improvement since 2022, when ratings for the new accountability system were released by the Texas Education Agency. The A-F ratings system is used to help improve student performance, address achievement gaps and ensure student success in post- secondary life, according to the TEA. The district received an estimated, or “What If,” rating of 82 in 2021-22 from the TEA, which would translate to a B. The scores were not direct comparisons to the previous year because of the new methodology, according to the TEA. The scores are considered out of 100 possible points. The 2022-23 and 2023-24 scores were not ocially released by the TEA.
