Plano ISD expects budget shortfall in fiscal year 2025-26 Plano ISD Chief Financial Officer Court- ney Reeves said the district is likely facing a $26.5 million deficit for the coming fiscal year. “We know we still have a lot of work to do,” Reeves said. The district currently has 210 bus routes , 220 drivers and 305 buses , Ewing said. Additionally, the budget for transportation is $20.6 million with a TEA allotment of $1.5 million , leaving about a $19 million funding gap.
