Dell Children's new north location brings health care option to WilCo

Space left for future growth can accommodate up to 36 additional beds on top of the existing 36 beds, hospital ocials said. At an event to celebrate the grand opening, state Rep. John Bucy III, DAustin, said the new facility will help many people in Williamson County regardless of income or background.

The Dell Children’s Medical Center North Campus ocially opened April 27. Contractors broke ground on the new facility in May 2021, and the four-story building contains over 187,000 square feet of space. Located at 9010 N. Lake Creek Parkway, Austin, the medical center is the only hospital in the county dedicated to the care of children, Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell said. New neurocritical care unit to open at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin
